KG Westman was the ”George Harrison” of 70 ́s style rock band Siena Root. Drawn into the world of Indian classical music he eventually gave up the guitar and disappeared to India to only focus on the sitar. Now years later, he comes back and teams up with top notch musicians from Sweden, India and Egypt to produce an instrumental album which is an amalgam of the traditional music of the three countries. This project is concidered of national cultural interest in Sweden and is therefore funded by the Arts Council.

If you imagine an old movie about a Swede, an Indian and an Egyptian, trying to get across the Saharan desert in a taxi, this would be the soundtrack coming from the car ́s cassette player. Mixed and mastered in the analogue Root Rock Studio with Sam Riffer behind the desk, the production has punching power beyond other acoustic albums.
