IQ Weekend 2025 

We invite you to a unique musical event! On October 3rd and 4th, 2025, the well-known Zabrze club Wiatrak, famous for its excellent acoustics, will host IQ Weekend 2025! After the wonderful reception of the Pendragon VIP Weekend, we have prepared another unforgettable adventure with progressive music! 

IQ is a band that has been inspiring generations of musicians and listeners for over four decades. Their music is a journey through a world of sounds, full of emotions, reflections, and beauty. In 2024, the group demonstrated outstanding concert form by releasing The IQ Weekender 2024* - a four-disc concert recorded that same year during a weekend in Aschaffenburg! 

The event scheduled for 2025 will therefore be a great opportunity to see the musicians live! Experience unforgettable moments with us, listening to iconic tracks, meeting musicians and other fans. It's an event that will be remembered for a long time!

Individual days of the event 

Day 1, Friday (start 19:30)** 

• IQ concert – a two-hour set prepared especially for the Weekend! 

• Meet and Greet session – that is, a meeting with musicians. 

Day 2, Saturday (start at 1:00 PM, concert scheduled for the evening)**

• IQ Concert - Part 2 (latest songs and hits from recent albums)

• Q&A session where you can ask the band any burning questions you have! 

• A joint photo session concluded with the distribution of a commemorative photograph for everyone! 

• Meet and Greet session – that is, a meeting with musicians. 

For each participant of the Weekend, we have prepared exclusive gifts and limited edition souvenirs from IQ Weekend 2025! Additionally, we have created a dedicated website for the event, where memories and galleries from the Weekend will be collected and shared!

Bio 

The band emerged from an earlier project called The Lens. Initially, the musicians focused on instrumental experiments, but after the addition of vocalist Peter Nicholls, their music took on a new dimension. They drew inspiration primarily from legends like Genesis, Yes, and Pink Floyd, creating complex, multi-part compositions full of dynamic changes and emotional transitions. 

The debut album "Tales from the Lush Attic" (1983) was met with enthusiastic reception from both fans and critics. Subsequent albums, such as "The Wake" and "Nomzamo," solidified the band's position at the forefront of the British rock scene. 

The 90s were the peak of popularity for IQ. Albums like "Ever" and "Subterranea" are true masterpieces of progressive rock, which continue to enjoy immense acclaim from fans to this day. The band has toured around the world, gaining a legion of loyal listeners. 

In the 21st century, IQ continues to create new music, constantly seeking new inspirations and evolving its sound. The latest albums, such as "Frequency" and "Resistance," prove that the band is in full creative force and still has much to offer.
