Zaledwie rok po wspólnym albumie „44/876” z Shaggym, brytyjski muzyk wydał kolejny album - „My Songs”. Zbiór ten jest w rzeczywistości kompilacją najlepszych utworów z solowej kariery Stinga i The Police. Jednakże w ramach albumu „My Songs” powrócił do wszystkich utworów i zinterpretował je na nowo.
