Jedno z serii zremasterowanych i wzbogaconych dźwiękowo wydań albumów Vangelisa nagranych dla wytwórni RCA i Arista. Wszystkie są dostępne w luksusowych digipackach, a masteringi zostały wykonane pod osobistym nadzorem Vangelisa w 2013 roku.
Znakomity album „Albedo 0.39” był drugim albumem Vangelisa wydanym przez RCA Records i został nagrany w Nemo, jego prywatnym studiu w Londynie, w 1976 roku. To koncepcyjne dzieło, inspirowane fizyką kosmosu i galaktyki, wzięło swoją nazwę od albedo planety Ziemi (proporcja światła, jaką planeta otrzymuje, odbijana z powrotem w przestrzeń kosmiczną), tak jak było w 1976 roku.
Album zawiera kultowy „Pulstar” i pokazuje Vangelisa, który poszerzył postrzegane granice syntezatora jako instrumentu muzycznego do nowych wymiarów. Ponadto Vangelis grał na szerokiej gamie innych instrumentów w tym oszałamiającym dziele.
