The British musician and founding member and guitarist of the band Genesis launched his "Private Parts & Pieces" series in 1979.
The albums in the series bring together personal audio documents, including songs, guitar solos, synthesizer music and more.
the last three parts "Dragonfly Dreams", "Soirée" and "City Of Dreams" were released in 1996, 1999 and 2012 and are now available in a four-CD box set with "Private Parts IX - XI".
The fourth CD is a bonus disc with a total of 18 previously unreleased tracks by Anthony Phillips.
Private Parts IX - XI" is rounded off by an extensive booklet with an essay by Jonathan Dann.
