Sodom to niemiecki zespół thrash metalowy, założony w Gelsenkirchen w 1981 roku i uważany za jednego z czterech największych zespołów thrash metalowych, obok Kreator, Destruction i Tankard. Przez 43 lata swojej kariery wydali siedemnaście albumów studyjnych i nieustannie koncertują na całym świecie, zdobywając rzesze oddanych fanów na wyprzedanych festiwalach i w klubach
To reedycja ich piątego albumu, Tapping The Vein, który pierwotnie ukazał się w 1992 roku i jest uznawany za jeden z najlepszych w ich obszernym katalogu
Oryginalny album został zremasterowany pod nadzorem byłego gitarzysty Andy'ego Bringsa, który stworzył również zupełnie nowy remiks albumu z kilkoma dodatkowymi, wcześniej niepublikowanymi nagraniami studyjnymi z sesji albumowych.
