Wydany w kwietniu 1996 roku album „Wildest Dreams” był efektem współpracy Turner z wieloma znanymi autorami tekstów i artystami, w tym Bono i The Edge z U2 („Goldeneye”), Stingiem („On Silent Wings”), Pet Shop Boys („Confidential”), Sheryl Crow („All Kinds of People”) oraz Barrym White'em w duecie „In Your Wildest Dreams”. W Wielkiej Brytanii album osiągnął 4. miejsce i uzyskał status podwójnej platynowej płyty, a także znalazł się w pierwszej dziesiątce w Australii i kilku krajach europejskich. Sukces ten zapoczątkował ambitną trasę koncertową „Wildest Dreams Tour”, która była wówczas trzecią najbardziej dochodową trasą solową. Trwała 16 miesięcy i zabrała Turner na pięć kontynentów. Do czasu jej zakończenia w sierpniu 1997 roku artystka zagrała 259 koncertów dla ponad 4,5 miliona fanów, wypełniając hale i stadiony na całym świecie. Dziewiąty album studyjny Tiny Turner, „Wildest Dreams”, w 2026 roku powrócił z okazji 30.rocznicy, po raz pierwszy zremasterowany i wzbogacony o rzadkie i niepublikowane utwory.
