Trifonov Daniil - My American Story: North (2CD)

Daniil Trifonov to bez wątpienia jeden z najbardziej utalentowanych artystów swojego pokolenia, który zasłynął już interpretacjami europejskiego repertuaru klasycznego. Nowy pianisty to bardzo osobista, artystyczna podróż przez “Nowy Świat” czyli amerykańską tradycję i style muzyczne, od jazzu i swingu po modernizm, minimalizm i popularne tematy filmowe. Znajdziemy tu dwa koncerty fortepianowe: George’a Gershwina z 1925 roku i Masona Batesa z 2022 roku oraz utwory Aarona Coplanda, Arta Tatuma, Billa Evansa, czy Johna Cage’a. 3CD CD1 Art Tatum (1909 – 1956) 1 Cover the Waterfront George Gershwin (1898 – 1937) Concerto in F 2 Allegro 3 Adagio – Andante con moto 4 Allegro agitato Aaron Copland (1873 – 1943) 5 Piano Variations Victor Young (1900 – 1956) / Bill Evans (1929 – 1980) 6 When I Fall in Love John Adams (*1947) 7 China Gates CD2 John Corigliano (*1938) 1 Fantasia on an Ostinato Dave Grusin (*1934) 2 “Memphis Stomp” from The Firm Thomas Newman (*1955) 3 American Beauty Mason Bates (*1977) Piano Concerto 4 Movement I 5 Movement II 6 Movement III John Cage (1912 – 1992) 7 4’33 (Field Version: Cage @ Columbus)
