W 2000 roku niemieckie ikony thrash metalu, TANKARD, wydały swój dziewiąty i definiujący album "Kings Of Beer", który stał się również odpowiedzialny za przydomek zespołu. Był to także początek nowej ery: Andi Gutjahr nie tylko dołączył do zespołu jako nowy gitarzysta (zastępując członka-założyciela Bulgaropulosa), ale także jako nowy autor tekstów, który ukształtował i rozwinął brzmienie legend thrash metalu. Niedostępny od wielu lat (ani na CD, ani winylu) materiał, przy okazji zbliżającej się rocznicy 25-lecia, materiał doczekał się całkowitego odświeżenia.
